Leh Ladakh, Nubra and Leh Palace Tour Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival in Leh and Acclimatization:

Fly into Leh (3,500m).
Rest and acclimatize to the high altitude. Avoid strenuous activity.
Afternoon: Visit Shanti Stupa and Leh Palace for a gentle introduction to the region.

Day 2

Exploring Leh's Monasteries and Magnetic Hill:

Morning: Visit Thiksey Monastery, known for its resemblance to the Potala Palace in Lhasa.
Afternoon: Explore Hemis Monastery, one of the largest and wealthiest in Ladakh.
En route back to Leh, visit Magnetic Hill and Gurudwara Pathar Sahib.

Day 3

Nubra Valley via Khardung La:

Drive to Nubra Valley (3,050m) via Khardung La Pass (5,359m), one of the highest motorable passes in the world.
Visit Diskit Monastery and enjoy the scenic views.
Optional: Camel safari in the sand dunes.

Day 4

Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake:

Drive from Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake (4,250m).
Enjoy the breathtaking views of the turquoise lake and surrounding mountains.
Overnight stay near Pangong Lake (optional, can be a day trip from Leh).

Day 5

Pangong Lake to Leh (or Tso Moriri):

Return to Leh from Pangong Lake, potentially via Chang La Pass.
Alternatively, if time allows, you can travel to Tso Moriri Lake instead, which might require an extra day.
