Day 1

Day 2

Srinagar to Kargil

Srinagar to Kargil | Kargil | Drive through the scenic Sonamarg valley and cross the challenging Zoji La Pass (11,575 ft). Visit the Drass War Memorial (Kargil War heroes). (Approx. 205 km / 7-8 hrs)

Day 3

Kargil to Leh

Kargil to Leh | Leh | Drive via Fotu La (13,478 ft) and Namika La (12,198 ft). See the Mulbekh Buddha and the stunning Moonland near Lamayuru Monastery. Reach Leh for overnight rest and acclimatization. (Approx. 210 km / 6-7 hrs)

Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake

Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake | Pangong Tso | Drive along the scenic Shyok River route (Sumer/Shyok Village/Durbuk) to the breathtaking Pangong Tso (Lake). Spend the evening soaking in the lake's changing colors. (Approx. 160 km / 6-7 hrs)

Day 7

Pangong Lake to Leh

Pangong Lake to Leh | Leh | Early morning sunrise viewing at Pangong. Drive back to Leh via Chang La Pass (17,585 ft). Enroute, you can visit Shey Palace and Thiksey Monastery. (Approx. 150 km / 5-6 hrs)

Day 8

Leh to Sarchu / Jispa

Leh to Sarchu / Jispa | Sarchu or Jispa | A long and difficult travel day on the Leh-Manali Highway. Cross Tanglang La (17,480 ft), More Plains, and the infamous Gata Loops (21 hairpin bends). Sarchu is a good stop, but Jispa (a bit further) is more comfortable if possible. (Approx. 250-335 km / 9-11 hrs)

Day 9

Sarchu / Jispa to Manali

Sarchu / Jispa to Manali | Manali | Final leg of the journey. Cross Baralacha La (16,020 ft). Drive past Keylong and through the Atal Tunnel (Rohtang alternate) before descending into Manali. Your trip ends upon arrival in Manali. (Approx. 150-250 km / 7-9 hrs)

*Bike- Specific costs (if on a Bike Tour): Refundable security deposite (usually 5000-10000).
